 If you are a doodle lover, odds are you know someone who fits the description of “doodle mom”. Are your dogs your kids? If you answered “yes” – there is a good chance that you’re probably doodle mom.

Chances are if you have 1 doodle, you are also thinking maybe you should get another. Unless you have a crazy doodle, which there are plenty of those as well!

Here are some way's you know you are an awesome Doodle Mom!

1. You ask if it’s OK to bring your Doodle to parties or to someone's house instead of leaving them at home.
2. You sleep in a tiny corner of the bed while your Doodle spreads out luxuriously and get comfortable.
3. You pull out your phone to show 3,000 photos of your Doodle to people you’ve just met. Not weird at all. :)
4. You think it’s super romantic when instead of jewelry, your partner gives you custom artwork of your dog or something doodle mom related like a doodle mom shirt. 
5. You Facetime or Skype with your doodle when you’re apart and they instantly know its you when they hear your voice!
6. You engage in “social petworking” – your doodle has his own Twitter, Facebook or Instagram page. Because, well you know.. they need one!
7. You constantly share photos of your dog online with hashtags like #DoodleLove #DoodleMom #LoveMyRescue or #DogLover.
8. You give presents or throw a puppy shower when a friend gets a new dog.
9. On a tender note, when a friend’s dog passes away, you send a sympathy card and make a donation to a nonprofit like the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in memory of their dog. Or to somewhere Betty White would have supported!
10. You watch “Marley & Me” when you need a really good cry.

11. You consider looking at adoptable dogs on PetFinder.com, or as one friend calls it, “Doodle Tinder.”
12. You leave social gatherings early because your Doodle has been home alone too long.
13. You rock Doodle hair like a fashion accessory... that is if they shed.
14. You spell out words like “W-A-L-K” in the presence of your Doodle if it’s not actually time to go outside.
15. Your Doodle was a bridesmaid or ring bearer in your wedding.
16. You like the smell of wet Doodle until you don't and you need to give them a bath, but they hate baths!
17. Your Doodle answers to his name as well as “Baby Girl,” “Sweet Pea,” “Little Love,” “Mr. Handsome Boy,” and/or many, many other terms of endearment.
18. When you’re traveling without your dog, you make a special trip to a pet store to buy her a “surprise” for when you get home.
19. People give you mugs or Doodle t-shirts with slogans like, “Doodles are my Sunshine” and “Doodle Mom” and “Doodle Dad.”
20. You see a puppy and start wondering if your doodle needs a sister or brother.
